“This is the first time we have used Viator. The company was very receptive to our needs (e.g. we did not want to go to a seafood restaurant, so it was changed). Sergio was super informative and had terrific personality. I will definitely be booking other tours with Viator and especially with Sergio when in Cozumel.”

“When we arrived we were told we had to pay $40 more. We’d payed in full through Viator and have never had this happen. Be sure to bring cash to tip your guide, tequila teacher and chocolate teacher. The tour began late due to confusion with time zones. The ship wanted us to stay on EST but Cozumel is CTZ. We ended up being late for our ship! We were supposed to swim at the cenote but the water was too dirty from hurricanes 9 months ago along with bat droppings. ATVs and tequila tasting was super fun. Our tour guide drank lots of alcohol during the tour.”

“This was a great experience. Our guides were locals who were very knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. (Especially Adolfo) However, for some reason I thought we were being taken out on a boat. Not so. The guides take you down the beach where you enter the water. Not a bit deal, just a surprise. Also, the waves & currents can make you a bit seasick if you don't ocean-snorkel often. But really, we had a great time & saw some amazing fish & wildlife. We are both nearly 70 & if we can do it, anyone can. Since my husband & I don't drink, we left off the tequila tasting &…”

“Great experience wrapping my own cigar. Open bar during the experience. Lots of hand-on assistance. *included transportation was a Taxi. Was able to get back to the boat on my own timeline. Just had to talk to the transportation Coordinator on site. Was able to spend a little time at the park, and still get back to my ship with plenty of time to spare. *Tobacco used in the cigar was Mexican in sourcing. Was told to wait two weeks to smoke because we had to moisten the leaves to be able to handle them. *Included access to a waterpark, and buffet.”

Review of Cozumel’s 4-hour dune buggy, reef snorkel, El Cedral, lunch, tequila tasting, and city tour for $79.99.

“Our guide was friendly and very accommodating. However, we were given a jeep instead of a dune buggy, the “Mayan town” was more of a warehouse with a mural on the wall and a stage for dancers. We also did not get to do the snorkeling but instead just visited a beach. While it was a nice stop it was not what we were looking forward to. The only part of the activity that was an advertised was the tequila tasting, which was the one part of the excursion we knowingly were not going to participate in. (We don’t drink alcohol.) Was a bit of a let down and this…”
