“Can’t say enough good things about this trip! My wife and I took the ferry from Playa to come over to Cozumel for the day. The whole crew on the catamaran was very welcoming and a ton of fun. Their guidance for snorkeling was spot on and the private beach and burgers to close it out was excellent! Would definitely recommend!”

“This trip was fantastic! The crew handled everything wonderfully. The spots on the reef they brought us was breath taking. And Carlos was amazing with his gopro. The food and drink stop was a great break after all the swimming. The ceviche they made was some of the best ive had! (Watch the green salsa. So flaverful but hell of a kick!) And the drinks will flow! The few extra dollars spent on the pictures and videos he took are so worth it. Things to keep in mind: you can not use sunscreen! They state this before you even sign up. Put on some before you even show up nut…”

Review of El Cielo Cozumel catamaran snorkeling, with reef stops, turtles, starfish, drinks, beach time, price, and practical tips.

“We had a good time, but I feel like this was marketed incorrectly. The description says unlimited drinks, but the drinks were offered until the very end of the excursion. Also, the fact that you can’t put on sunscreen was not shared, until after the boat left the dock. Three members of our party got terrible sun poisoning. Blistering, almost hospitalized. Horrible experience for them. Also, the beach club is rundown and nothing is included. And there’s not much of a beach.”

Review of Cozumel’s El Cielo snorkeling tour, with Palancar and Colombia reefs, sea stars, rays, ceviche, drinks, and practical tips.

“People were very friendly. The instructions getting there was a little confusing for me tho and personally I would've preferred we stayed longer at the palancar reefs where we actually did snorkeling and could see fish instead of spending most of the time at El cielito which is just a sandbar where we hang out (palancar was like only 15-20 mins out of the 3-4 hours). If you're looking for a more hang at the beach kinda tour then this is for you, but if you want more snorkeling I'd try looking for other options.”

Snorkel Cozumel’s Palancar and Columbia reefs, then relax at El Cielo with starfish, rays, drinks, snacks, and a four-hour boat trip.

“Bad experience, I don't recommend it if you want to snorkel in peace. We were a big group, and we had to follow the guide through the reef, which really limited our time, and we were surrounded by other groups. We only saw fish. Everything was fast and mechanized, with no flexibility, and we felt like cattle. At the last stop, El Cielito, you can't snorkel to avoid disturbing the manta rays, which I understand, but then they should give you the option to stay on the boat in the shade and they don't... So everyone's out in the sun surrounded by other boats and with the music blaring. They…”

★★★★★★★★★★3.5 · 63 reviews · 4 hours 15 minutes (approx.)

Review of Cozumel’s 4-hour snorkeling tour to El Cielo, Palancar, and Columbia reefs, with gear, drinks, guides, and practical tips.

“What started with a large amount of trepidation ended in a wonderful experience. The first point to recognise is that the marina is located away from the cruise terminal. It's about a 5 minute taxi ride at a cost of $9-00USD (could likely be a tourist price). We were extremely nervous on arrival at the marina - it looks somewhat run down. The boat also looked as though it had seen better days. So - that was the worrying part. However, once on board everything was wonderful. It's about 20 minutes to the most southerly reef we visited. The journey was exhilerating. Once there we were provided masks, snorkels, fins…”
